Pharmacy Contraception Service (PCS), allows you to get free ongoing supplies of oral contraception (the pill), including repeats and sometimes new prescriptions, directly from many community pharmacies, bypassing GP appointments for convenience.
Book an Appointment: Schedule a consultation with a pharmacist at a convenient time.
Consultation: The pharmacist will discuss your needs, check your suitability (including blood pressure/weight if needed), and confirm your ongoing contraception is right for you.
Receive Medication: You can receive up to a 12-month supply of your oral contraception, though a shorter period might be given for clinical reasons.
Free Service: It’s free and exempt from prescription charges.
